Vibrancy Fund Applications

The City Centre Activation Officer, Andrea Taaffe, spoke to the agenda report, giving a brief background to each of the applications and responded to questions from the Subcommittee.

 

The meeting was advised that the Vibrancy Fund Criteria was circulated as part of the application form so applicants were aware of these details.  The bullet points within the criteria were not set out in order of priority.

 

The Subcommittee members addressed each of the applications in turn, with the City Activation Officer being asked to give feedback to some of the applicants, as directed by the meeting. 

 

There were no declarations of Conflicts of Interest in regard to any of the applications.

 

The meeting was advised that Application #1 “Chris Lambourne – Rainbow Mural” had been withdrawn.

 

Youth Council Appointee: Esta Chaplin joined the meeting at 9.05am.

 

Youth Council Appointee: Nikki Mnyanyi joined the meeting at 9.25am.

A)        That the Civic Development Subcommittee receive the report titled Vibrancy Fund Applications dated 16 May 2023.

B)        That having reviewed the applications against the criteria for the Vibrancy Fund, the Civic Development Subcommittee allocates funds to those applicants whom it considers will best assist Council to achieve its desired community outcomes, from the total funding available of $25,000.00.
