Meihana Watson left the meeting after item 5 and did not return.

Environmental Planner (Policy), Craig Scott spoke to the report and responded to questions from the Committee.
The Mayor joined the meeting at 1.36pm.
Councillor Heke joined the meeting at 1.37pm. |

A) That the Heretaunga Takoto Noa Māori Standing Committee receive the report titled Papakāinga Development in Hastings District dated 20 November 2024. B) That the Committee agree to defer any review of the Papakāinga Section to the District Plan until after the release of National Direction for Papakāinga Development in 2025. |
Councillor Henry Heke left the meeting at 3.00pm and did not return.
